Warning: Safety In Your Neighborhood Is Gone

What is safety but a long lost friend?
Can we not walk the street for fear of bullets raining down?
What has become of this world?
Laws do not live in the streets, they live in a book.

There they masterfully paint a picture of theoretical substance far from reality.
We do not live in the confines of a book, nor do the cowardly men who take life of the innocent.

Will we be forced to wield what we dread because that is the law in the street? If we choose to serve the law what will become of the neighborhoods we inhabit?
If we should turn our backs from the blood stains splattering the walls of schools, who will restore the peace that our children so desperately need?

My heart wishes to believe the government will save our families,
but my mind tells me we are just numbers, waiting to be replaced by a generation to follow.

If death of God's purest creations, children, cannot be spared from the tyranny off domestic terror than surely every man and woman are victims in wait.

The day of lawlessness, of faithlessness is upon us. It fills our homes quietly. Taking with it every form of belief in God.

We cannot sit idle.
We cannot accept fear in place of freedom.
We cannot stand alone and defeat the peril lurking in our streets.
We must unite.
We must push aside political differences and restore what society has long tried and succeeded in doing, removing God.
In numbers, we are plenty but in secrecy we are few.
